Kennedy Library Floor Maps

Wayfinding, Iconography

I redesigned the floor maps for Robert E. Kennedy Library with a focus on clarity and improved wayfinding, particularly for key but often hard-to-locate services and spaces.

To inform the redesign, I gathered feedback from students, librarians, and library staff about their experiences using the existing maps and navigating the building. These insights guided a series of hierarchical refinements, including greater emphasis on computer lab room numbers and clearer identification of librarian offices, resulting in a more intuitive and user-centered navigation system.
